    Alert! ??? RedWing RC???

If this is true there are not going to be many manufacturers left, could mean a return to the glory days of kits and building!

Resurrecting an Old Favorite - 3DHS 87" Extra SHP

I would not be encouraging people to bring it down on the deck until they are well and truly ready, glad it turned out ok.

Resurrecting an Old Favorite - 3DHS 87" Extra SHP

He would have flown been able to fly out of that hover if it were higher.

Rant! The real DEAL.. RCG/FG/ F them

Hey SleepyC, I have been a member of both RCG and GiantScaleNews for quite some time, you are correct though on the outside it seems that the long haired git is an arsehole, I do not get involved with the giants as they have in fact turned me off giants, as for RCG well, it is probably worse...

    Build: EF 88" Edge 540T

No problems Terry, clearly you thought I was talking about you, but i was speaking generally, to me me they are but toy engines, buy what you want to run. Certain popular forums are worse then others, there is far to much bias these days for like i said, toy aeroplanes.

The I'm going out flying thread 2016

I understand that feeling, I have considered selling all my gassers and going purely electric with 30cc the biggest size. The problem for me is that i was forced into gas with companies not making arfs like the showtime, the funtana and others but after flying 50's and a small stint at larger...

    Build: EF 88" Edge 540T

I own two DA70's, do not own a EME but I would own one for certain, beauty of the EME is that it will fit where the DA will not. What am i bringing, I am not understanding your humour?

They are just choices, DA, DLE, ZDZ, BME, 3dub.

    Build: EF 88" Edge 540T

They are far too many DA users in forums whom in my opinion, say they do not care what engine others run but their actions and words say otherwise.

    Build: EF 88" Edge 540T

And without factual data i would say very similar power but with a broader power band, most definitely a better approach as there will be a great reduction in vibration with the twin over the single. The only negative would be a higher noise envelope, lub ya work!

    Build: EF 88" Edge 540T

Lol, that is funny! my only gripe with the EME is the fact it is a little heavy, but it fits many ARF cowlings where the DA does not. I do not understand the amount of power people want these days, if you ask me a fifty is fine in this model, the EME would be ballistic. To each their own I...

    Build: EF 88" Edge 540T

Every motor is different, i don't think i have owned one that needs five flips after choking but if that works without flooding your eme then hey it works. Every DA I have owned is notorious for flooding, i never flip past the first pop, and never flip with the choke on the first flip, in my...

Check out the new airplanes available from Pilot RC!!

Let us hope so, i am waiting for the new 91" extras's to become available, they should be a perfect match for a DA70, there are not too many arf's that are a direct fit for that engine in my opinion, most are too small or too big and heavy, the 91" should be brilliant. Not counting aerobeez...

    Build: EF 88" Edge 540T

Yes i know, EF/3DHS do not really have anything much anymore, smaller electrics, electrics or weird 40cc planes. The EF 60cc sized planes are too big for a 60 and barely have enough power with a 70cc, this one is the only gasser in their lineup that suits me, perfect size for a fifty or a...

    74" EF Laser

Depends on your flying style, a 30 will pull it around but a 35 is definitely better. Many at RCGroups will say a gasser will not 3D anything, not sure where this comes from, it is pure bs but hey it's the internet. Do you already have the 30cc?
  17. J

    Build: EF 88" Edge 540T

I love this plane the last true EF 50cc, it's a shame EF have gone pretty much solely electric or bigger/smaller, oh well, I have a few 70ish inch electrics but do love my fifties! I hope they do not scrap it from the lineup!
