    Just weighted it. fuselage,wings cowl,wheels without engine,covering,radio and scale accessories. 35lbs I am still hoping for the 55 to 65 range. Roger you may be right it can easy make the 100 pound mark. Time will tell. I am looking a LED light for the wings and a strobe for the rear.

    Cowl ready to be taken off the plug, once I have removed it I will glass the inside with 6oz cloth. Out side will then be filled and sanded,more filling and more sanding

    Cowl Plug completed, last coat of paint. I will let it dry until this week end, then it's time to start laying some fiberglass cloth.

    I haven't give up yet. have some many project going on. Having to build a new left wing panel. When I laid the first panel out it I ended up with a twist in the wing panel. Could have repaired it but as big as this plane is going to be did not want to risk a failure.

    Thanks, I have a DLE 170 not doing anything right now, But I quad 222 is going to be the choice, the cool factor, usable weight plenty of room in the fuse for set up.
