Sailplane Blast from the past- revisiting the Gentle Lady

Congrats on the new plane. You know, you could put some high torque servos in that plane and fly it with your feet firmly planted on the ground. Just saying. lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sailplane Blast from the past- revisiting the Gentle Lady

I have been trying to come up with an opinion but don't have one. I get confuse with current day micro servos that weigh 9 grams but what's the torque? What about putting the battery at the rear part of the wing bay where the S148s used to go and then move those slightly forward? Does it seem...

Sailplane Blast from the past- revisiting the Gentle Lady

Sassy Lady sounds like a great name for this plane. Mine has transparent red on the wings. I think I need to get mine down from the rafters and find some sort of inspiration from your build here.

Sailplane Blast from the past- revisiting the Gentle Lady

Wow Cody! This is awesome. I hope you plan on using some transparent covering on this "not so gentle lady", that's too long a name, glider. Lol. I still have one with some hanger rash that every now and then I think about electrifying it. I never did like going to fetch the high start and...

The Forgotten Extra, The Extra 230

Yeah build it light for sure. I built mine like a tank. I wanted to make sure that my G62 wouldn't rip off the front. It was my first giant scale plane. What the heck did I know anyway. Lol. That DA50 probably wouldn't even get mine off the ground.:)

The Forgotten Extra, The Extra 230

I would be curious as to how it balances with that engine. You may need to add 2 or 3 more DA engines. I'm joking, sort of. I still have my 30% one in my shop collecting dust. I'd almost give it away to get the space, almost, maybe, or perhaps. Lol.

    3D Gluing Robart Hinges

I have never heard of that before. Thick CA is more of a gap filling glue. I wouldn't trust CA glue to securely attach Robart hinges. I would only use epoxy, though I have heard others use Gorilla Glue.

    Show Me the Biplanes!!!!

I don't, but that is one awesome looking plane as well as quite the propeller on the front. What's the story behind that plane?
