IMAC Double Build, Carden Pro 124" Extra 300 40%

For future reference: I prefer using sections of carbon arrow shaft for anti rotation pins, or get some alum tubing to fit over the dowel. In hot humid weather, which I'm sure never happens in LA ;-), the dowels can swell to the point were putting the wings on or taking them off becomes...

Cam, I have done this in the past, also cleared over regular mk as well. You just need to lightly scuff the material first. t

Hi Cam, Looking good. Fwiw, I always leave fitting the cowl rings into the cowl, and mounting the cowl until after the hatch is completed (up through glassing and finish sanding). That way you can massage the cowl rings so that the cowl perfectly aligns with the hatch and there is never a need...

Buddy, Downloading and reading the rulebook is great, but downloading the rulebook, viewing the online judging series, and attending a judging school is even better ;-) And all of those things are easily accomplished: http://www.mini-iac.org/Event-Details/PID/231 - the National Judging School...

Most of this is accurate, but it is an outdated doc. Partial point / hesitation rolls are now denoted as 2 x 4, 4 x 8, etc as opposed to 2/4, 4/8, etc.

    Full scale ELECTRIC Extra

A 260KW / 350 hp electric most definitely has smoke in there somewhere... but I wouldn't want to be the guy responsible for letting it out.

Unless ZDZ has changed their mount pattern since the days of the Super 160 (and they may have) they have the same mounting dimensions as DA 150 - 200. You just have to accomodate for the the rear carb configuration. I used to use SWB mounts with ZDZs with out issue.

Looks great Primo! Hopefully you're one of the fortunate ones, but keep a very close eye on that G'tech main gear. Check the center section on a regular basis...like about every 15 minutes.

I'll second that. I'd also run spiral wrap all the up to and just over the red heat shrink on the plug caps. The bends on those plug leads will not hold up under vibration for long.
