I had to dig around for this picture but I still have this plane. I replaced it with a small Escapade. the Fun One flew better. I may recover it at some point.

It originally had a Saito .45 on it. After sitting for 15 years it would not work, wonder why, so I put that ST.45 on it and was a rocket ship. Lol.

Awww....that bites. If you soak that 45 in transmission fluid for a few days. Opened up would be best. After it's soaked really well, my guess is that you will probably be able to get her movin' again. Usually all it takes is just a little lubrication and a gentle touch. Love the sound of a Saito. Too bad Gen Saito did not make some really big gassers.

I used the baking/heatgun method which did loosen it up pretty good but while turning it over I felt something snap. Thats when I bought the Super Tiger.

In 1976, my largest airframe was a Goldberg Falcon 56 (OS 35H-R/C). Got me flying very successfully @ age 16. I've had a bucket load since. But that one is dear in my memories.

My favorite slimer....circa 1986....Hobby Lobby Funster.

Folks thought it was a GIANT at 72" wingspan.

Still have it BTW.
