I’ll be honest. I don’t exactly know what I’m doing 100% lol. But! I am putting together floats for the super otter. Never made a set of floats from seaplane supply yet. I modified a few little things but this is a new venture for me. Got the bottoms glassed, and even added a Kevlar rub strip..... yeah... I did that... overthinking as always. So far it’s been a fun process.

Spent the better part of the weekend cleaning up and changing all the fluids in my new-to-me tractor. 2006 Mahindra 2015 HST. It had been sitting in a barn for 6 years after the farmer passed away. His wife finally decided it was time to let it go. Other than the seat it cleaned up pretty good and runs great. Also had to install a new battery and fix a flat tire on the rear. I ordered a new seat off eBay. Hopefully it fits well.

Cute little guy. I want one. Or a skid steer.

Thanks. I want a skid steer too. But I couldn’t pass up the deal I got on this tractor. It also came with a bush hog, finish mower and a set of pallet forks.

Had a chance to witness a professional running a machine a couple of weeks ago.
Decided that I could not possibly do such equipment justice.
But I still WANT ONE!!!

Thought I would give it a try to build a pair of small light snow skies for my foamy. What I ended up with is what is in the picture 1 1/2 inches wide and 9 inches long hopefully that will give enough support with 1 1/2 inches of lift on the front. Just need to build the second one now, and then give them a coat of thinned epoxy.

Well this plane was purchased quite a while ago. It was flown and had a small accident, so it was hung up in the garage for many years. So a couple of weeks ago I was looking at it and thought that the G38 that was sitting on the workbench looking for a home the Funtana 125 seemed like a good candidate. So this is what I ended up with, does not look to bad. Now all I have to do is wait for is this coming spring.

Well boys this covid19 decease is having an impact on my hobby, because we are in lock down again I just keep looking for things to build already resurrected three old planes and working on my four. The worst thing is I really do not need anymore planes. Just pulled out my old Pro260 that was stripped of everything to build the Glitter. Cutting some of the nose off so that I can fit a os75 ax onto it, need to extend the nose by 45mm to get it to balance again with out having to add lead.
Question to all the members has anyone heard from @49dimes have not seen him on GSN for quite some time, miss his input.

I was wondering the same thing. Miss seeing Kelly on here.
Sounds like you actually need a little kit to keep you from going stir crazy!

I actually have got my hands on an very old Ohio-RC (The was hand cut by a gentlemen and his son in Germantown I believe) kit of an Extra 300S. Believe the kit was cut in the early nineties. Will be starting it after new years. Should be interesting no instructions and box full of balsa.
