Apparently clipping the corner of a shed is the limit at which I finally broke a prop adapter. Time to see if my design skills are up to the task of designing a 3D printing a replacement.

Went out today and flew the E-Flite Air Tractor another One hour or more the Aluminum gear is very light and to springy for my liking and if not greased in on landing the gear spreads and starts the plane porpoising, made a spreader bar on the bottom of the gear. Also kept moving the Admiral 4 cell battery back until I got the CG where I like it, now flies inverted hands off.

Flying today was a little cold 28 degrees and, NNW wind 10 to 15 mph and gusty. Put another hour on the Air-Tractor, trying to get use to the flaps. Would have been nicer in calm conditions, but I guess we can have every thing LOL!!!!

Here is a video I did of my detailed Air Tractor 402 with floats on flying off the snow we have left from the 12" we got Monday. I painted the floats to match the plane One of theses days I need to learn more on making a Hat cam video LOL!!!! Here is a photo of the planes I took out to fly today I ran out 26 batteries of various sizes Stating with the Air Tractor 402, PT-17, Dynum 50" By-plane, Spitfire UMX Turbo Timber, and the UMX Gee Bee R2, Also test flew my brother FMS 48" Ranger on floats and test flew another guys FMS King Fisher floats off the snow.

Went out this morning and test flew the second E-Flite Twin Otter. almost 50 degrees here in the black Hills, but we had a direct 10 to 15 mph cross wind out of the west and the parking lot we fly from is straight North and South. My Brother was a little hesitant about doing the test flight in these conditions. He informed me after taking off if I did anything to hurt his plane I would have to buy it. Test flight went well and I greased it in with power and cross control needless to say he was impressed with my flying skills. LOL!!!!

Went out flying here in the Black Hills. We had one of the warmest days so far this year. We had out quite a few planes flew My AT-6, Extra 260, Red Dynum Waco, and my PT-17 my brother had 4 planes with him too. He has came a long way with his flying this winter. He was flying his Hobby Zone Aero Scott when I mounted one of my Go Pros on top of my PT-17. In the video if you watch close right at about 1:00 to 1:05 sec. he was flying North to south when I came in from the East going West Coming out of a split S dive pulled up and clipped the right wing on his Aero Scott with the prop of the PT-17 you can hear a click and a flash of white in the upper left of the video, it doesn't get any closer the this all that happened was the lose of about 1" of his right wing tip then we both landed.

That Stearman looks and sounds pretty sporty!! Is that the eFlite version? And on 3S or 4S?

Yes it is the E-Flite PT-17 The first two flights I made on this plane over a year ago was on a 3 cell 2200 Kinexsis 30c. At our altitude of over 4,000 ft MSL the vertical was only about 200 to 300 ft. With the 4 cell Admiral 2200 35c it was the difference of night and day and almost unlimited the 4 cell 2200 really make this thing come to life. There is nothing I like worse then an under powered Airplane. I have been flying this thing for over a year and 1/2 and have over 40 hours flying time on it I have replaced all the taped hinges with micro pin point hinges on all services due to failure of the factory bit of foam they leave when they cut the tapper then paint and after painting add the hinge tape that fails with a few hours of flight. The way I like to fly is balls to the wall and most of the time less then 30 ft. off the ground, and that is all I have to say about that. LOL!!!!
