FINALLY!! started roughing out a fuselage for a pattern plane using the Evolution 26GX that @WMcNabb gifted to me a while back. It'll be wings and tail from a Super Kaos blown up to 78" and the fuselage is going to be similar to a 3DHS Aspera in profile with a pipe underneath. Plug in wings, not sure of anything else but working on it a little at a time. Pics if/when I can actually get anywhere with it. Maybe it'll fly like crap, maybe not. Might be a bit large for the engine but I want it to be zoomy, not 3D so we'll see.

Build thread........................

Needs some fine tuning. But the trim is basically done. It’s a lot harder to do scale strips on a square fuselage than I anticipated. I hate to admit that I cheated a lot....... cut covering to patch and make the lines strait. This ain’t no show model, but it’ll look sweet flying.
I just need to kindly figure out a way for my friend with the vinyl cutter to hurry up. Lol!

Did not know were to put this I thought this would be the most popular area.
This is a question about angle sanding block or miter sanding block. What I would like to know is what do guys have for sanding angles onto balsa sticks and sheets when building. I am talking about manual system not a disc sander have one of those. What I am talking about is if something does not quite fit and you just need to make one or two strokes over a piece of sand paper to it just right.

Theses are nice.

Or you can put a stopping block on your table and take some passes over it with a sanding block.
