Our annual treat at seeing Dave Johnson's huge Avro Vulcan, powered by four gas turbine engines, flown at RAF Cosford. This year flown in formation with the equally large Victor flown by his son, Andy.

That was probably one of my favorite jet videos. They look so real and so wonderfully flown.

Any video or pics of how they transport and assemble those huge monsters?

Sorry Mike. I don't have pics or videos of the assembly but obviously these models break down into several pieces but are still transported in big vans. The fuselage on these models is 2 pieces as well.

Thanks. I’ve been to the UK several times. Large vehicles aren’t really the norm there like they are in the States. So I was just curious how they were transporting them. The two piece fuselage would definitely help.

We use to have a guy in our local club that would haul his larger planes to the field strapped to his roof rack on his hatchback.
