Always happy to help a fellow Canuck.

Looks like one interesting unit but it is much more than I need and about 4 times the costs of the Ar IM22 which is no longer available. Would like to find something similar to the AR-IM22.

The smartfly expander only matches three points centre and the two end points nothing in between. Or am I incorrect. Would have put 2 in if I could buy 1m22 from AR, Booma but it looks like it is not available anymore. Do not know of a another.
You are right about the SmartFly, but I have not had any issues with it (I drive it with 2, 3000mAh 2S LiPos). You get a bit of noise as the two servos are not perfectly matached, but I have never had a problem with this setup.

Booma still make power boxes with servo matching. I have a Smart Bus Extreme With 6 volt Regulated Optical Ignition in a 1:3.8 scale PC-9 (100") that has 15 point matching. Take a look at http://www.boomarc.com/en/smart-bus-extreme. They have lots of good options so I am sure you will find something that works for your application and fits your budget.

With the split ailerons, do you really need to have the servos matched dead nuts over the entire span? I have had great success with the XPS 10X channel expander, I'm sure the X24 will do a great job for you.

The ailerons are split and do not need to be matched. But the rudder will hopefully have 2 servos and need to be matched but I did not get the rudder pivot for the rudder connections perfectly square to one another so they will not travel in the same arc there for I need to be able to match the the servos. With today’s servos you cannot just match end points. Still hopping to find a AR - IM22 if someone has one for sale please let me know.

Well decided to go with one servo on the rudder but it will about 600 oz-in and see how it does and then decide if it is ok or start making changes. If it will do a nice knife edge all the way across the field and pull up to vertical I will be happy but I do not think it is enough to do a knife edge loop, it will not pull out the bottom, well we will see.
