Damn I'm hungry
Been getting cooler in the afternoon here too but only because of afternoon thunderstorms . Power went out and then back on intermittently about 7 times and then out for about an hour or so. Hate it when it does that. I have to go and turn everything off so the voltage drop outs and surges doesn't destroy anything :devil-dance:. Just bidding my time for fall weather to get here . And Duh! Can't really hall anything just yet any way :(. A good friend gave me his real flight 5.5 so I did get some flying in today :dancing-poop:.

LOL. Yea, does not do much good to get cool if it is dropping two inches an hour. And as soon as it stops the temps and humidity come right back.

I was sitting in my parents kitchen one day and the power started going on and off. The power came back on for the last time and so did the microwave.:oblong: I pushed the stop button several times with no results, I even tried opening the door and the magnatron kept humming away. I had to pull it out of the cabinet and unplug it to make it stop. I'm just glad I was there. I've been told by many people that that can't happen, well it certainly did.

Looks like all of us are have unusually strange weather. The past week has been so hot the air conditioning in the house could not keep up it just ran full out all the time and never shut off and the temperature in just kept climbing up slowly.

LOL. At least we know the heat is coming. But it seems to get harder to handle it as we grow older, or at least that is my assumption. For the last thirty'ish years I have installed larger than needed A/C's so at least inside it is a cool 74° to 76°. At night we'll drop it to 70° for good sleeping. I don't need it that cool being as I spend so much time outside but the wife works in hospitals and is more use to the 70°.

Speaking of weather, it's been a little warm here too. 103 last Thursday and around 100 since. Not normal for this time of year. Ah, but today a nice little break. Headed for the field at 73 with 0 gusting to 4 mph winds. Not so hot now as I head in to focus on priming the 330 cowl. The SD Baby Yak did great as always. What an absolute sweetheart to land! Though the DLE 61 ran superbly and probably the smoothest I've seen any single run, it's just not my cup of tea. Guess I must be 3w spoiled. The DLE 61 is good. The BE 62 was great on this plane. Pretty sure I am looking for ridiculously amazing. Only a "Dub" will keep me happy.

You are spoiled, but I have to admit ran in to some operating problems with my 3W. Just not right and was getting worse by the flight and the plane was getting difficult to start an down on power. So rebuilt the engine new reeds and carburetor rebuild. Started it just fantastic there is not a single engine that I own that has the response and power like the 3W, just wish they were just a little cheaper. But you get what you pay for.

You are so correct. As I made note regarding basically what you experienced with your dub. If a normally reliable and dependable engine begins having problems, there is something amiss. And most generally it will not fix itself. It will only get worse. Yes, a bit spendy. But oh so worth every penny.
