Well some how I have to turn this single balsa stick going across the top of the plane into a canopy. I stood and stared at it for 10 or 15 minuets. I then turned around went up stairs and will tackle it tomorrow. This is going to be a bit of a bugger. To make it light stiff and fit properly over time.

Are you saying a removable canopy or what kind of canopy. I am amazed you even got it the way it was! Im thinking you mean round it off or something along those "lines"?

The dlg shouldn’t be to hard to repair without adding much wieght. Not real worried right now though since I will need new servos yet again before taking it back to the sky’s.

It will be a removable canopy. I am trying to set the gas tank on the CG and place everything else were required to balance.

How about building a canopy that follows the shape and design of the fuse? What material do you plan to use for the actual canpy/cockpit? Maybe a removable canopy/hatch like most arfs?

Like that idea and then just cover the cockpit area black or some dark colour. That should be fine for this plane and it is light.
