I like 'em "BIG"!
Really like the wheels that is a nice addition to the plane, also like the way wheels are mounted with nut and bolt. And the nut looks special small with built in washer, nice did that come with the wheel.
OK the paint job on the motor is really good and the colour is great is it a metallic red or did you get rattle can from 3W.
Thank you. I really like the way they turned out. The bolts and nuts were purchased from Home Depot. I didn't want to drill those little 50cc landing gear to accommodate the axle that fits the white rose wheels. So instead I drilled a much smaller 1/4 by 20 hole and slid a bolt through and into the landing gear. I used a stopper nut between the wheel and the landing gear and then of course a locker nut with blue Loctite on the back side. As for the paint, no it is not from 3 w. Funny thing, I went down to O'Reilly Auto Parts and found a high temperature metallic red paint that matches the 3w paint identically. What A Stroke of Luck huh? LOL

Does anybody know what this is? Maybe 3D Hobby Shop? Wingspan is maybe 32" if the studs behind it are spaced at 16" on center. Thanks!

At least now you can see I am making some progress on the semi profile. It is slow going when you have to hand make every single piece one at a time. The worst of it is when you look at it and start back tracking because once you do something you look at and then say if I did it like that it would be better or lighter.

Precision Aerobatics says they are not the father. :(

I'm thinking it's an older ExtremeFlight or 3D Hobby Shop
Very interesting. I am quite surprised. None the less, It's a good-looking plane. Are you going to keep both of them Bart? Definitely a good price on them.

Well I decided to try something a bit different when I paint the dash for the cub. The "Cub Kit" included a dash for a
Taylor-craft (Very similar). I used it to make an overlay to spray the silver paint and form dial rings. I am also going to use tiny screws (4 for each gage) instead of spot painting the impressions made when it was vac-formed.
