Well spent the morning cutting sticks finishing off the sleeves and making some sheeting for the stabilizers. Once the sheeting is dry it will be sanded and then we can start the assembly of the two stabs.

Need some advice have a DA50 and love the engine does everything I need it to do. At present building a bashed 50cc profile. I see a few DA60 for sale never owned one so my question is how much difference is there between the two engines. I did look up the engine and the DA60 is 3oz heavier and obviously a little bigger. But my main concern is it a lot rougher and will it tear the plane apart or are the two engines very similar and just got some extra power.

I like 'em "BIG"!
Absolutely gorgeous weather today. I just couldn't resist awakening the superior 3W "Beasts" from their long winter naps.

So happy, and not a bit surprised those dubs didn't even fight coming back to life. A few choked flips, a couple more unchoked and the beasts roared to life.

You build light and a 60 is way overkill. DA50 is more than enough. Heck....My DL50 throws a 20 pounder around. If you want to take a bit of "shake" out of the 50 just retard the timing a small amount and swing a 23x8 something.

That is one hell of a collection you must be proud of that. If I may ask of all the planes you have there if we’re only allowed to keep one which one would it be and why.
