Damn I'm hungry
Well tried to start to build the rudder yesterday morning and discovered that it will not work looks good on paper but would end up to heavy. So back to the dawning board for the day. Got it all figured out and now it looks good and it is light and very stiff. So now I can start making some dust.
One question need to buy a 1 inch diameter carbon tube c/w sleeve and 3/8 carbon tube and sleeve who would you gentleman recommend where to to buy it , thanks.

........I just go to ebay and plug in what I'm looking for. They will show many different vendors. If I don't want to deal with ebay I just go to the vendors website listed.

I have really good luck with goodwinds. They are primarily a kite building parts house. Have received great service from them every time I order.

I may be mistaken but I don't think magnets work with a Cub door. Not any that I have tried anyway, just too small, the door ends up flopping around during flight.

They should hold fine. Will see when it flies if the time spent pays off. Must have spent 8 hours or so just working on the door and window. I use two magnets per location. There are four total on the door and two in the window. And they are very strong magnets. Cobalt I believe. I also put on a new hinge system for the window and installed it so it affords resistance and stays put in any position. The trick was to get it so there is no "spring back" from the hinges being folded over when closed. Having to do all this so it "mimics" a real Cub on the inside too. I don't know how well it will turn out but this picture is my "template" to follow. My color and sheen will be a satin red and flat black. The foot plates and pedals on mine will be a tad back because of ignition and engine servos. There will also be a false bulk head that will have the end of a scale looking gas tank attached covering the end of the engines gas tank.
