Still have a ton of stuff to do mainly on the interior but some paint work (wind screen retainers red color) and small button head hex screws for the wind screen retainers ( instead of the small servo screws) and matching the yellow square on the exterior. Also need to make the engine air scoops out of brass or aluminum sheeting. I decided to go ahead and assemble and check CG. Think I will go ahead and Maiden tomorrow just to see how it's going to fly :).

Ok you are not happy. Well you have to start over the flying season has not started jet so you have some time to get it done .

I know. I’m a happy person. I used to have everything copied, but i wiped it clean and forgot to copy the models again. I messed up good. My flying season is now, I know it’s not the end of the world, but my ship just capsized lol

Oh boy.... just deleted a model off my tx on accident... nooooooooooooo (lazer230z!) why couldn’t have been one I don’t care about!!! Darnit! Very frustrating. And no it wasn’t copied, I was trying to copy another model but I didn’t see that it defaulted to overwrite a current model. Crud crud cruddy morning!!! Makes me want the 18sz even more lol

Was always afraid of doing that. Nice thing with my taranis and using openTX is the ability to use the pc. I have everything saved on the radio, hard drive of pc, and a thumb drive.

Just had to mess around and see if it would start now that's it's all together....... Also had to make the fuel dot look a wee bit more Cub like.

Again many thanks to @acerc for the donation. You put a big :) on my face. Having many pleasurable hours in the shop thanks to you.
Going to stop the Cub shop talk for a while but will post up once it is finished.

By golly Kelly, that Cub looks right smart! You should be proud of yourself for resurrecting and restoring in top shelf fashion that once doomed Cub. Perhaps you should retire and do this for a living. Lol.
Nicely done...

I can only imagine what my wife would say if i fired up one of my gassers in the house.

Not to worry!....... The smoke detector will drown out her yelling at you, wake the baby and keep her tied up for a bit giving you time to get out of Dodge and go have a cold one . Also lets you avoid getting :msn_slap:....... Cuz I know a good wife aint saying nothing :way_to_go:.

Perhaps I should lol.

To be honest though the builder did a great job to begin with. When I was Googling Sig Clipped Wing Cub......along the trail of photos this popped up. I think it's Robert and the plane!

I do enjoy restorations though. Remember this one?
