I like 'em "BIG"!
So how about a little update on the Twisted Hobbies Edge? It's coming right along and nearly ready to blast off. Just about all that is left is mount the motor, esc and rx. We have no wind today, so maybe if I get off work early enough maybe I can put a test flight on it.

Kind of a cool little p.o.f. (piece of foam). Lol
Not a difficult plane to assemble. But one would think so after looking at the online pdf. This should give me my "quick fix" when I can't get to the field with one of my "real" planes. Lol

Well that is not exactly look like an in door foam plane. That is an out door foam plane. Looking good. Looks like it takes micro servos. Keeps us informed.

Well boys it has been a long frustrating day for me and a lot traveling back and fourth to the print shop with nothing to show for all the work. It seems that no mater what I do at home with the PDF the machine at the print shop sees it as 8 1/2 by 11. He can expand to 36 inches but when it prints it is bad. The lines are very thick and the scale is of. Example 16 inches is printing at 14.75 so I am having my difficulties. Can not find anything on google to help so it going to take some time to figure out.

Can you adjust the file size on your computer or format the device you are using to "carry" the file so the print computer will read it as its actual size. I guess you would need to know what software the print shop computer is running to make the file compatible. Just guessing here. But it seems that the print computer is compressing the file you have.

Got all repair and painting done earlier so I built this in the shop tonight. I call it the Cub Club
Once all the yellow paint has dried for 48 hours I will lightly brush satin clear poly over it to match the sheen of the original paint on the plane. I did this with the landing gear and it worked pretty good getting an almost perfect match.

You are really ending up with very nice cub. The job you are doing is great by the time you are done he is going to want it back I bet he is slowly starting to regret giving it to you nice plane.
Ok I will over for for one cub club thanks.

Thanks for the kind words. I don't think he is going to regret it because he could do the same thing if he wanted to. Probably better because he built it in the first place. I don't build much anything anymore but I do enjoy a good restoration and getting cheap ARF's to look and fly good. Really enjoy reading what you guys do. I applaud you for endeavoring into the drawing science of the hobby. And these 3D printers.......Amazing. As for the Cub Club......Come down here and get ya one! Better fresh than frozen :yesss:.
