Mine was a piece of tempered as it was supposed to be for a door which makes it more expensive but really strong. I don’t have to worry about dropping my weights on it and breaking it. But remember a bit on the edge of tempered glass will shatter it into a million pieces.

Yes, you can pound it with a hammer on the surface but touch the edge with a hammer and bye bye glass.

The wing panels on the Behemoth Yak all servoed up is five pounds two ounces each. On baby, her Wing panels are 4 lb. each. And if I remember correctly the Big Orange Sukhoi Wing panels weigh about the same as my 260 wings. The big Yak has 3 Hitec HS 7954's per wing, the 260 has 2 HS 7950's and the Suk also has 2 7950's per wing

Thanks for that I was curious because Chief has a sale on pilot wing panels and I would like to buy a set for my stick 85 and change the wings over to little more aggressive wing. But called them and they will not ship to Canada or take them to JoeNall for me so I am out of luck.

Hey there Snoopy1, Get an account with Cross Border Pickups in Mississauga. They give you an address in Niagara Falls NY, and they go across the border every day to get stuff. They bring it to their warehouse in Mississauga and you can either pick it up there or arrange for them to ship them to Brantford for you.

Give it a shot, you might like it. Here's a link:

Thank you for that I did know about it, but completely forgot about it probably because I have never used it. I am going to look into it first thing in the morning. Would you know how long it takes to set it up. Thanks for the link.

It is almost instantaneous. They give you an American address for their Niagara Falls location, and give you a "Unit Number" which is how they know the parcel is for you. They charge you about $4.00 per parcel (cost is dependant on the size of the parcel).

Dennis

Well been busy but had to stop was just cleaning up an aeroplane and ironing out some wrinkles that drives me nuts but while doing so the sock on the iron died and had no spares. And my LHS is 65 miles away. So looking at the sock I can make one one quicker than I can drive there and back. Cut up the old sock to make a template. Cut up some new material and sewed up a couple of new socks.
