Booth of my JR’s have touch screens and I would never buy a new radio that does not have that feature, love it and it is quick. Often work on a Spectrum 9 channel the programming on that radio puts my JR radios to shame it is really easy to program. But not a big fan of the roller on the side.

I was scouting around on the ol interbweb this morning and found that Graves RC has the 16SZA in stock so I called and verified with them, they have 5 of 16SZA and 1 of the SZH in stock so I canceled my preorder from Hobby Zone and ordered through Graves, received shipping info shows should be delivered next week. I'm super excited.

I've been scouting around for a new radio system also. I like the DX 20 a lot. Was also looking at the xi12. I like what I see with the 16sz. I flew Fu-ta-baa for many years trouble free until I bought my Aurora 9 then the 9x. I am curious if anyone knows what the Latency and Resolution of the 16sz is? For its time when it was originally released, the A9x had the lowest Latency on the market if I remember correctly. Surely it is behind the times with the new radios being released???

I am not sure what the latency is on the radios, but what I did find out the many of the radios that have more than 10 channels that they are not truly useful channels because there update times are slower and there resolution is lower were this new 12 XI are true channels fully proportional and 11 ms update times which is very important. Also some of the higher channels are just switches.

So the 11ms update time is the latency. 11 is good. I think... don't quote me, my A9x is like .07. I'm gonna check that. I also want at least 2048 on the resolution. Few newer radios have 4096 resolution as does the new Hitec rx's.
