Got some things done on some friends planes and finally got back on rudder tray install. Bolted it down with SS 4-40 hex caps and lock nuts.

I don't think it will come lose or come out unless a lot of wood gets splintered .

Made a wing rack since my pile of airplanes grew exponentially this week :oblong:

Only cost about $20 in parts.

Since the rack that used to be here was used to store 2 of my giants I no longer own, this is where the wings will now go :)

11 total racks with a few still open for more airplanes in preparation for some exciting new airplanes next year ;)

Organized the remaining fuselages and my 2 Twisters.

I like 'em "BIG"!
One other thing, a worm gear clamp can ruin an aluminum canister. Not a problem on the stainless header side like Rob has it. I have a canister that the inlet was crushed by a previous owner with a worm clamp.
Sad but true. I have also seen crushed canister inlets. That was sign enough for me to never do it. I haven't had too much problem with the canisters rotating. But them darn leaks drive me wacko.

Got the second 1/2 inch spacer made and it took quite a bit less time always with the second one but it looks good fitted the exhausts on with the spacers and it works cleares the motor box by at least 3/32. Just have to make a hole for the throttle servo and get it mounted in the motor box.

Very nicely done Kelly. But I really don't think I am cracking the

hard enough. Do you want to go to your room without your cheeseburger? It's not done yet.

Got the motor properly mounted and made up all the aluminum washers to distribute the load of the 100 motor. Installed a new gas tanks and it is plumbed in. The ignition is mounted and strapped down . Made a cover plate where the ignition switch was and installed an IBEC. The aluminum cover plate has a hole for the IBEC LED. Getting there slowly.

Made a deck in the bottom of the fuse. The rear dump canister needs to exit in this area hence the deck. Will cut a 1" hole at about the middle of the deck for the stinger of the canister to exit. Cut 4 individual pieces of 3/32" light ply and sandwiched them making the 2 pieces at the right thickness (same as the stringers).

Is there an extension that goes on the stinger to extend through your 1” hole?

The little edge is almost ready. Made a servo arm for the elevator, custom wire extensions to the tail and for the aileron hookups, just need to set up the servo arms and linkages on the ailerons, then check out the CG.
