I have very little experience with canister but the one set that I installed never stopped turning until I put screws in. I was very appreciative to bo it but after one season of flying it seems to work.

I like 'em "BIG"!
Have to put screws in if there is no knurling on the inlets. JMB canisters have some awesome knurling that holds them in place.
Absolutely correct. Thankfully, 3w also puts "knurling" on their headers. Higher end canisters also have the same. But as many of you noticed, the KS comfort headers on my 106cs are smooth as a babies a*%. Hence the reason I put a regular worm drive hose clamp on the header coupler to keep it from moving. (And "leaking")

Nicely done. BTW, those of you that run canisters, do you put screws in to keep them on? I can heat the plastic piece, put the clamp on and still comes loose. I put a screw in one of my DA 120 cans and now I think I am going to do the same with a proflow can. What is the best way?
I run a short socket head servo screw right in the gap in the middle of the clamp. Works like a charm.

I sorta do the same thing ;). But I drilled and tapped 4-40 socket head. I also put a light coat of shellac to seal the Teflon coupler to the header and canister. On the MTW flex headers I also give it 4 good wraps of yellow Teflon tape. Zero leakage. This one shown has had about 20 flights before I pulled it off the "old" DL50. It is going back on the "new" DL50 :).

Got the second 1/2 inch spacer made and it took quite a bit less time always with the second one but it looks good fitted the exhausts on with the spacers and it works cleares the motor box by at least 3/32. Just have to make a hole for the throttle servo and get it mounted in the motor box.
