I was working on covering the fuselage of the Uproar and found out I don't have enough green apple covering... guess I am delayed for a bit while that ships in. I also ordered an electric starter since I haven't had a need for one of those for about 5 years.
Hey @Bluepilot2003,
Just find yourself an "old school" OS, give it a good tune and you won't need an electric starter. . . . . ..

Started on this last night. 97” span. Weighs 3.5#. Tons of lead in the nose. Was given to me back when I was a “kid” about 30 years ago. Been hanging on the wall ever since. I have never flown it. Might scratch out a new fuse to take some weight out of tail and lighten it up a bit. Thinking I might add a 480 size outrunner to the nose, but that gets heavy. Also, the wing has about 3.3 degrees of positive incidence. Is that normal? Don’t know much about gliders....

Some of the RC goodies I ordered for the Extra are here :). The servo wheels are a very tight 25t fit and the fuel dot will look awesome on my John Deere Tract......I mean plane. Did some one mention Green Apple covering???

The fuel dot is intended for boats but what the heck.....Tractors need fuel too! Besides it has a really cool door that allows fueling access and stays closed nice and tight with two magnets.

If it has a "fixed" elevator or just the stab and rudder only for steering control then I would say that is normal for that type of plane. really old school.

Boats? I like boats! You’ve got some nice looking stuff there. Look forward to hearing you get this in the air and scratch your itch!!
