LOL Yeah on days that I have taking just the sukhoi I have had a blast with it. Honestly I think if it had a bit more power I would be happier with it but I have gotten used to my 13.4lb edge profile with a DLE55 on it so when you go a pop a 16lb sukhoi that also has a DLE55 on it into a hover then nail the throttle to pull out it just doesn't feel all that great. I have considered either a 70 twin or grabbing a BE 62 but just never have
Very understandable. Nothing like extra ponies. I have always been a real big fan of the Sukhoi. Back in the day, one of my very first planes was a Goldberg Sukhoi. As you well know, it was designed around a 120 size glow motor. Oh but no. My first one had a Moki 1.8 on it. Then I changed it to the Gemini 160. My second one had a Saito 180 on it. I think that is why I am so keen on the round airplanes. LOL if you are interested, I have a BE 62. I would let you have real cheap. Then I would have to be forced to buy another 3w engine. Oh darn LMAO

Yeah the sukhoi is one of the few round cowl planes that I find to be a truly good looking plane other than the SU-29 with the 2 seat canopy just looks to big. @capthis will hate me for saying that. LOL Mine is a great flying plane but even with a few dozen flights on it now I'm still not comfortable trying to get down low with it like other planes. Hell when I got the 3DHS 75" extra within the first few flights I was bumping the rudder of the ground with it.

Hey Rob,

You can always take the engine out of Baby and bolt it to the firewall of your 35% Sukhoi, but you better make damn sure you bolt the wings on VERY WELL. . . . . . . .
Well you see David, that just won't work. My Sukhoi is a Hangar 9 40%, 122 in. It already has a 3w 170 on it. But don't tempt me! I have considered boulding it to the 33% Yak. LOL
