Yes @Snoopy1, just as i wrote. I received an email to call and make payment to get my system back on Friday. $8.99 for return shipping. I received my radio equipment back today, paperwork said all radio system works as supposed too and that they replaced antennae wire on satellite. Well i know all was fine with plane b4 adding that switch and i know i did not fly it into the ground. Interested in my thoughts, Hmm. A replacement plane at their cost is my idea.....

About a month ago my friend installed one of them and the same thing happened except we were able to get the plane down in one piece except for some cosmetic damage. Removed the switch and we're still chicken to fly the plane. So we removed all the gear and installed it in a test plane that I had finished a week ago. Installed all the gear the plane flew great now I must say we took out of 40% plane and put it in forty size plane. We are in the process of installing all the radio gear back into the big plane.

Man, crazy start to the work week. A constant non-stop busy day, made even more difficult to hear about one of my best buds passing away in a car accident. :(

It's gonna be one of them weeks

Ive used 10-15 of the RCExl opto kills over the past few years. I havent had any issues with them. Brand new, out of the package, right into a brand new airplane, no issue.

Makes me wonder if you bought a bum one......

Could not tell you if it functions as it should it turns the ignition on and off but what it does otherwise hoe knows but we are not going to chance it. It must be noted that this is not the only incident. Let's just say we are hesitant to use it again. Love Ibec and the Spark Switch and will continue to use them.

That really looks good. The only thing that I can suggest is to make the front mounting plate removable.

i thought about that. so i made the plate big enough to have multiple mounting patterns for different engines.
