Almost done with the hatch. Just a few more odds and ends, and then I can glue on the canopy, after painting the hatch area.

WOW! Is all I can say. Dennis is damannn!!
I just removed, for the first time, the canopy out of the protective covering, and was amazed, that the front edge of the canopy is already precut, and very well precut, that it keyed in just perfectly to my hatch area! Very impressive. Soon some pictures!

Something I learned from Tom Wheeler, the easiest way to glue on the canopy!! In the past, I tried all types of contraptions to do this. However, this technique is the easiest way. The premise is, that the canopy is cut perfectly so that it is not long on the sides. Meaning, the sides, bottom edge, cannot be outside of the hatch, otherwise, this will not work. 1st step, I applied glue to the the top, making sure it was well aligned, and letting that cure. Then, i went back, and applied glue to the remaining areas, sides and bottom of the front and back. Then, using masking tape, from the bottom, I placed strips, but did not fasten them to canopy just yet.

Then, place the hatch on the fuselage, and secure with the screws, then, pull and tighten! Easiest way ever!!
