    I run a short socket head servo screw right in the gap in the middle of the clamp. Works like a charm.

    Have not had the luxury of have the ends knurled the ones I was working with were smooth and as you said turned no mater what I did...

    Have to put screws in if there is no knurling on the inlets. JMB canisters have some awesome knurling that holds them in place.
