Shaking down/fine tuning thrust reverse/differential. There's a sweet spot with the motor braking and timing of the reverse that's fast but not abrupt. Very happy with the wide and pushed forward gear with the PMT tires. This plane has excellent ground handling and will be very stable in the wind.- RC80AK

YES! I think my next build will be my own design heavy lift utility with 4 tilting motors for full VTOL. The twin ultra stick and quad timber have been practice for this project:)- RC80AK

Milled a tiny slat tab sandwich extension to grab on to the stub left from shipping damage and epoxied on the remaining slat. I've been enjoying fine tuning the Aura 8/Spektrum setup and added a differential thrust mix:- RC80AK

Cut out a transport rack for the Timber. I made something similar for the Ultra Stick and have really enjoyed it. I've strapped it on an ATV rack and gone 7 miles up a mountain without issue. I pulled the gear off the plane to finish tapering the back edge. Very happy with the weight of 2lbs even for a pair of 8" rubber tires, longer wider stance, and probably double to spring rate of the factory gear. Tailwheel setup complete. I'll likely swap to ball ends/springs later but we will see how straight springs work. The factory axles were slightly larger than 6mm so I chucked them in the drill press and sanded them down for the wheel bearings. I had some left over 6mm wheel hubs from Kavan tires...- RC80AK
