Best lights I've seen on a large turbine jet...on 3 blink pattern

The unilights are awesome… I have them installed on mine. This vid is from when I first installed them, you can’t really look directly at them they are so bright.

    Yippee! What the postman brought

Got my Robinhood 80 from Old School Model Works, got a little concerned when I picked it up from the front porch with the landing gear sticking outside of the box but happy to say there’s no damage. Wood looks really nice.. now to figure out what I’m going to put in it.

Scale Need Balso USA 1/3 scale Super Cub engine choice info

Here’s a pic of how the D&B 5.1 fits, the stock D&B mufflers are angled in towards the center of the engine and exit the bottom of the cowl, then engine fits really nicely and like I said before has plenty of power. If you haven’t already I would do the option of making the rear stab adjustable...

    Hangar 9 60cc Corsair Build

No problem! Send it in to Richard at YS! The guy can fix anything and is very reasonable price wise. I have sent him engines I didn't think could be or worth fixing and every time I get a running engine back.

    Hangar 9 60cc Corsair Build

I'm running a 13x8 apc prop, it runs great, I'm only running 20/20 fuel, next time I'll grab some 30% heli if I want to go faster. Just like all my YS engines, it took about a gallon to get it broken in and it really came alive. I forgot about the DZ not running the pressurized system. It's...

    Hangar 9 60cc Corsair Build

I think he's talking about the .46 size ARF I have. I mentioned I also have the .60 size kit but my YS80 is in the .46.

    Hangar 9 60cc Corsair Build

Thanks! Yes it comes with mechanical retracts that work great. The DZ70 will fit like it was made for that engine. Mount the engine all the way at the end of the supplied motor mount and you're good to go. I'm using the stock tank as well and knock on wood, so far it has worked fine. I made...

    Hangar 9 60cc Corsair Build

Guys, I'm thinking about selling off this project, I'm really interested in getting a jet and the only way I could pay for it would be to sell off the Corsair. No further work has been done other than what I have shown. The engine has been mounted but never seen fuel. If anyone is interested...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I got a new radio a couple weeks ago and have been wanting to get my planes setup on it. But it's been 150,000 degrees outside and the lake is full! So I've spent the last two weeks getting the boat ready to go. Oil and filter, impeller, fuel filter, air in the trailer tires, drained what gas...
