Help! Need a good plane for windy days 30 to 50cc

The weather is changing around my area and have several good 3D planes but are not good for windy days. So I am not getting out to field as much as I would like too, I am thinking of getting some thing that can handle the wind better. Does anybody have a good plane they are flying in the wind or suggest a good one. Thanks for your help.

Hey @Snoopy1,

Your big AMR Stick is an EXCELLENT windy day airplane. It's just like an Ultrastick and mine didn't give a hoot about what the wind is doing. It's also a lot of fun to lower the flaps & throttle and let the wind push the plane backwards.

The stick is good in the wind but it is one big plane to drag around with a mini van if I had a trailer it would be used much more. Need something a little smaller to load and fly.

Oooops, I forgot your AMR is the 85cc version. How about the new Hangar 9 30cc Ultrastick?. It is still a good size plane, but it's no where near the size of your AMR.

Looked up the Ultrastick 30cc looked good but while on the Hanger 9 site looking around at the planes they have a 30cc RV4 I forgot about it I did see it at JoeNall. This plane looks promising will see what I can find out about it it flew good at JoeNall but it was the prototype.

Put one of these in your windy day airplane. They work awesome. Not cheap, but worth what they cost.

I pretty much fly anything I have on windy days, from the small electric up to the large 35% stuff. I guess the question should be just how much wind are you referring to? I don't enjoy flying when there is robust crosswinds, but if the wind is not choppy not as big of a deal.
