Not sure if this is a "build thread" or not, so feel free to move this post to its own spot, Gyro. Got the 72 build underway. I have had about two hours to mess with it so far, so my progress is quite slow. Holes cut into the fuse, elevator and rudder horn slots cut and dry-fitted. P:S: I have a 92 trader rating on the "other" site

I have 6 7955s with SWB arms that have been mounted but never flown. (2 have never been hooked up to a control surface)

I have some bills coming up and need the money.

These are the latest version and were purchased about a month ago.

Hey Joe. How long do your airframes last with the way you punish them in the sky? I just re-watched one of your 103 extra demo's, and I'm surprised the plane didn't burst into a cloud of balsa at times. Do you ever find yourself making repairs or replacing airframes just from flying them so hard?

FUD!!! Now What?

71Slick busted.jpg

I purchased a motor box kit a little over a year ago. I guess it's time to get some good out of it since I dumped my Slick last week.

Everything else up front (wings, wheel pants/gear, canopy, cowl) survived and no repairs required.

Don't think it...

I have the 57" Extra 330SC (Great plane!) and now have ten flights on my 59" Slick. So far the former high school educator in me says the Extra scores an A with 95 out of 100 and the Slick scores an A with 92 out of 100 for 3D and precision.

Please specify what you like about both planes and describe the flight...

I know this isn't a question, but you deserve many thanks for taking the time out to answer questions. So, I think many folks would like to say, THANKS JOE!! :flyer:

After just over a year of flying the 48" Extreme Flight Extra EXP, I couldn't wait to get my hands on the new 60" variant. The 48" has been my go-to...
